The dative Dáirḟiniu ( Expuls. 23 , Cymmr. xiii ) and passages like rí Dáirfine duind, Leb. Cert. 82. 2 f.b. are against the analysis as Dáir-ḟine, fine being a fem. stem in iā ( Wb. 28 a 4 ). In this connec- tion the phrase Fine Dáire, LL 14 a 33 , Cóir Anm. § 68 is of no consequence.—Also pl.: do Dairinib dó, SG 311. 44 .
