n , f. (óg), also úag(a)e (freq. in Mid.Ir. poetry). In O.Ir. the stem is always non-palatal: d s. i n-ógai , Sg. 59b10 , Ml. 94b3 ; ó ógai , Thes. ii 3.34 ; i n-uagai , Fél. Prol. 255 (but: co ṅ-óigi, ib. Ep. 107 , co n-úaigi, Apr. 6 ); in Mid.Ir. generally palatal before a palatal vowel in inflexion.
