frequent in Comm., often as gloss on NAIDM from which
it does not seem to differ in meaning. Thurneysen ( Bürgsch.
p. 83 ) suggests that (despite the difference in prep.) it is
65an imitation of Lat. ob-ligatio. Somet. written fosnaidm
(cf. snaidm), see below.
