an explanatory word, phrase or clause that is to say, namely,
in other words , folld. by abs. (deut.) form of vb. Rare in Wb.,
45does not occur in Sg., but freq. in Ml. Often preceded by .i.
When the following clause would normally begin with 3 sg.
