Sometimes also -das n-, -dosn-: (a) 3 pl. corresponding to Oir. -sn-. mór do mílib dorochair díb. rodosnairg Dia ar airgabáil na hairce, SR 5415 . (b) 3 sg. m. (n.) corresp. to Oir. -sn-, s (non-rel.) ; -idn-, -dn-, -d'-, &c. (rel.); -tn-, -t'- (after co n- &c.) : in muirlinn aili isí in muir : fodasniada im thalmain (subj. is `rí') SR 288 , which Strachan, l.c. i 174 , corrects to `fodasriada' ; but it may as well stand for `rodasniada,' the pron. referring to the masc. linn (Oir. n.).

Like -sn-, -s-, -d-, -das- also in time lost its force, as the frequent addition of the noun and independent pronoun shows. It has still some meaning in such phrases as : port indasfacca Meidb, TBC-LL¹ 1458 ; tabair dam béos conusfortachtaige da cechoen, PH 1423 ; conusfortachtaige dona trógaib, ib. 4158 —where the use of the pronoun is proleptical; but finally it lost all significance, and was in connection with co n- and dia n- felt as an inherent part of the conjunction : fuaratar folliuchta beca isin úir...conus-fetatar co mbad hé Míchel roḟoillsig arde a ḟrecnarcusa and PH 6331 —Cf. -da-, -dan-.
